What we collect
Account identifiers (operator login during soft launch), order details, device/browser data, ship-to ZIP for local printer routing, printer capacity and model information, design submissions (notes, measurements, photos), product suggestions, and support messages. We do not ask for filament science from customers. We do not put personal cell numbers on the public site.
Why we collect it
To fulfill orders, route local network prints, improve matching, secure the operator gate, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.2% Build Initiative uses aggregated platform revenue — not a sale of personal data.
Processors
Hosting (Vercel), payments (Stripe, when connected), email, and shipping-label providers when live. We do not sell personal data.
Cookies / session
We use an httpOnly session cookie for the operator login, and local-device storage for cart and votes during soft launch. We do not run a third-party ad tracker on this preview.
Retention and rights
We keep account, order, and submission records as long as needed to operate the marketplace and meet legal holds, then delete or de-identify them. You may request access or deletion via go@bu-ld.com. We will verify the request before acting.
Children
This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as Stripe, shipping, and multi-user accounts come online. The date above will change when we do.
